By accessing this school, The Academy For Higher Sciences (herein described as "This School" or "This Site" or "The Academy"), you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws.
1.1 These Terms & Conditions of Use apply to all of the products and services offered by The Academy, including live events hosted by video.
1.2 The user agrees that participation in a class(es), workshop(s), or session(s) offered by The Academy, either in person or on-line, during which the user receives or will receive information or instruction about yoga, meditation, mindfulness, guided imagery, or if applicable, other physical activity, exercise, movement or process (collectively captured under “Yoga”). I recognize that this may require some physical exertion, movement, or posture which may put me at risk for, or cause me, physical injury. I understand that Yoga and meditation or any products offered by The Academy, is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis, or treatment of any physical or psychological condition. I alone am responsible to decide whether to participate in.
1.3 The user agrees that it is the user's responsibility to consult with a physician and obtain his or her approval prior to my participation in Yoga class(es), workshop(s), or breath work session(s). I represent that I have no medical condition which would prevent or inhibit my participation in the Yoga class(es), workshop(s) or breath work session(s). If user is or will become pregnant, or is post-natal or post-surgical, user has obtained physician’s approval to participate in Yoga or other products offered by The Academy. User will not perform any postures, movements or activity to the extent of strain or pain. If user feels discomfort, strain or pain, they should gently come out of the position or posture; and acknowledges that user may rest at any time, and that user should always listen to their body, not exert themselves unnaturally or force, strain or over stretch, and respect their body’s limits and condition.
1.4 This School offers Yoga, Meditation and courses based in Higher Sciences and these are accessed upon registration. The courses serve the purpose of physical fitness, relaxation, self-perception, and overall wellness but do not replace the care of a mental health professional or medical treatment. The Academy makes absolutely no guarantees and the user takes full responsibility for their participation and subsequent actions taken as a result.
1.5 User's acceptance of these terms and conditions releases Sole Proprietor Jennifer Fisher of Put Em High, Owner of The Academy For Higher Sciences, from any and all liability, negligence, or other claims arising from, or in any way connected with user's virtual or live participation in The Academy's offerings, inclusive of yoga exercise or other exercises offered by The Academy.
If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from participating in live or virtual sessions, using the school, or accessing the products of The Academy or this site. The materials contained in this School are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.
2. Use License
- Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of any downloadable materials on the School’s website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

10.2 Registration for future workshops/sessions will be fully refunded if the following conditions are met:
- written request for cancellation is submitted 2 weeks in advance using School contact form.
- if user shows medical certificate that they are unwell up to 3 days prior to event.

Any claim relating to the School’s website shall be governed by the laws of the School Owner’s home jurisdiction without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
